Shingle Eater

Sold To A Private Investor

Beacon Equity is pleased to have represented the Stockholder & Board members of The Shingle Eater in marketing and sale of the company.

About The Shingle Eater:

Shingle Eater builds a steel hand tool designed to help contractors with the removal of shingles from the roofs of buildings. All work to build the tool is done by a contract fabricator at another location. Most sales transactions are handled through several different manufacturing rep. organizations located in different regions of the country. Multi -location building supply chains are the primary customers. There is one part time employee that handles all business activity. The owner has no day-to-day involvement in the business.

Shingle Eater recently built four different tools and the tools were sold in sets of six per box.  All four tools are designed to remove asphalt and wood shingles. There are four pricing tiers for ordering. The price per tool changes based upon the volume per order. Customers get a discount on freight costs with larger orders. Below is a description of each tool.
