About New England Shutters:

New England Shutters began by working in the remodeling industry back in the 1970’s. They provided a variety of contracting services to homeowners including vinyl siding, replacement windows, and window shutters. During the 1980’s the company moved into the manufacturing arena with the building of vinyl replacement windows.  Slowly the Installation and contracting work was phased out in order to not compete with their contracting customers. The business achieved steady growth during that decade.  The present company was started in 1991, with the primary business focus on the window shutter market. The owner saw an opportunity to provide building suppliers, and contractors a variety of shutter products without having to order from long distant manufacturing companies and their significant delivery lead times.  Today the business enjoys a commanding position in the market place. The owner believes the company sells more shutter products than anyone else in New England. With 10,000 sq. ft. of industrial space, the company stocks all sizes and styles of shutters and offers 16 color choices. The company has added cutting and welding equipment to offer custom size shutter products.
