Mercenary Audio started out as a refurb shop/broker for vintage equipment. A leader in the field, we traveled the globe scooping up Neve consoles and U47’s — tape machines and Fairchilds (Fairchildren?) – usually giving them a once over to restore them to tip-top shape and provide the day’s engineers with superior tools that would last a lifetime and steadily climb in value. Today Mercenary Audio is a leader in recording studio equipment and Mercenary Audio offers a variety of recording and mixing services. Customers can choose to book studio time and work with the engineers, or send the material directly to the company to be worked on and sent back. It also sells equipment and gear and have a great reputation for their engineering and their sound recording studio products.
