About Andrews Computer System Inc.:

Andrew’s Computer provides top-notch computer services and hardware sales to more than 260 businesses in the Boston and Providence area. The original goal of the company was to sell computer equipment and the Real World accounting package, which was a widely accepted accounting package at the time. By the early 1990’s the Company had made a name for itself as a reputable company that provided computer equipment for a reasonable cost.

The current owner, Kenny founded Rock-Solid Computer Consulting.  This company was established with the sole purpose of providing high end computer consulting. Rock-Solid quickly gained a reputation for high-end technical consulting at a time when Windows computer networking was still in its infancy.

With experience in both the current networking standard of Netware and the new upcoming standard of Windows NT, the company quickly found clients eager for its expertise. Some notable clients of Rock-Solid were Harvard University, Roger Williams University, and Major Hospitals. 

Rock-Solid also took the unique approach of offering its technical expertise not only to customers, but also to other computer companies. By seeing other computer companies as colleagues rather than competitors Rock-Solid was able to increase the customer base and profits for both itself and its allies.

In 1997 the Rock-Solid Computer Consulting acquired the Company, combining the technical expertise of Rock-Solid, and the sales volume of the Company, a new well-rounded company was formed. The well-respected and long-standing name was kept as the name of the new company.

In the following years further acquisitions were made which increased the area of coverage of the company, which now services customers in the Eastern Massachusetts, and all of Rhode Island.

It is the company’s intent to provide the best service available in all areas it serves. The company’s guidelines are to provide Friendly, Experienced and Affordable Service, Support and Sales to its customers. These guidelines are evident by the high quality of employees on staff. As a reminder, the guidelines are imprinted clearly on all of its letterhead and marketing material
