The owner started the company People in the Woods in Central Rhode Island, offering a variety of remodeling services to local homeowners, including kitchen renovation, room additions, and other interior work. People in the Woods had a successful renovation of a three story mansion which opened the door to a new referral source – a well respected architectural collaborative. The company now completes 3 to 4 large jobs a year from this source.

The company has enjoyed steady growth to the present day. The owner invests minimal time looking for new business, instead following up on the many leads that come in each week. The company is more selective in the projects that it accepts and looks to “out source” more of the work to subcontractors.
