Beacon’s Deal Bridge Advisory is our proprietary service specifically designed to assist business owners who have already identified a prospective buyer. These owners need advice to reach a deal with the proper value and structure which actually closes. Converting a friendly handshake into a deal which survives several rounds of renegotiation and due diligence can be a long and challenging process to navigate. Management buyouts

Management buyouts or intergenerational transfers can be accomplished without 100% seller financing.  Banks and other lesser known funding sources are willing to finance transactions and take some of the seller’s risk off the table. These transactions have multiple challenges similar too, but at the same time very different from, traditional M&A.  We have the experience to ensure a fair deal and a smooth transition.

Over a professional lifetime spent in one industry, owners often develop relationships with peers who suggest to them “if you are ever thinking of selling, please call me first”.  The thought of transferring the business to a long time friend is attractive and feels easy, however must be viewed as any other potential transaction: Are they making the best offer available in the marketplace?  We have the experience to vet the friendly buyer and often create competitive bids to add value.  We can also provide buyers with the information they need to make an offer without compromising proprietary information about products, employees and customers whose disclosure too early can create risk for the business.
